Magic Lite Presents the ALL NEW Tokistar LED Advantage Series.
For years, lighting professionals have relied on Tokistar Advantage Systems from Magic Lite to provide attractive, efficient and durable indirect
lighting for coves and other applications. This versatile system is now
available with LED lamp modules that consume only 0.72 watts each
making Advantage more efficient than ever. Compared to our 5 watt xenon
lamps, LEDs reduce energy use by 85%. Better yet, you can retrofit
existing installations with this LED module without changing power
supplies. LED Advantage is powered by our regular 24V DC transformers.

The
LED modules come in a very warm 2400° Kelvin colour temperature which
does an excellent job of emulating incandescent lamps.

Point Zero chooses
LED Path Lights

Point
Zero's new head office in Montreal was a dream for owners Nicole and
Maurice Benisti. They spent over 25 million dollars to build this
beautiful headquarters for their large clothing company. The designer,
Andrees Escobar wanted to use colour changing LED units installed in
the floor. The fixtures had to be powerful, sturdy and easy to control
using a dmx program. With the guidance of Groupe Lumitech (Magic Lite's
sales representative in Montreal), the LED Path Lights were chosen. These fixtures use ultra bright LEDs and offer a full
range of colour changing effects. The installation is complete and the
designer and the owners are extremely pleased.

Magic Lite Hosts 4th National Sales Conference.
Last
January, Magic Lite hosted its fourth National Sales Conference. Sales
agents from across Canada attended this two day event and were educated
on new product launches for 2007 along with informative sessions on LED
technology and controls and Fiber Optic Museum Lighting.
Special guests included Steve Nelson of Tokistar Lighting, and Jeff Versakos of Band Inc.
- a renowned museum showcase lighting designer.
Attending reps were treated to a special dinner with Spirit Of Canada Skipper Derek Hatfield at the Port Credit Yacht Club. Derek received an
enthusiastic welcome from the crowd as he presented breathtaking videos
of Open 60 class racing boats and told his story of his previous
"Around Alone" race in which he was capsized rounding Cape Horn.
Magic Lite Lights up the Dead Sea Scrolls

As a result of our newly formed association with Band Inc., Magic Lite has the prestigious honour of illuminating the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Fiber optic lighting is ideal for museum lighting as it produces NO heat or harmful UV rays.
Valuable artifacts can be illuminated without the fear of damaging
them. Magic Lite's CARO - Fiber Optic Display Lighting system was an ideal choice for this exhibit.
Several
display cases were used for the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit and each one
was equipped with custom lengths of CARO bars. Each bar had 2 rows of
holes with 1 inch spacing. One row used one fiber per hole and the
second row had three fibers per hole. The angle distance between the
rows was 30°. This configuration provided uniform light levels
throughout the display case and over the Scrolls themselves. A total of
72 feet of the CARO system was used for this project.
Each
CARO system is custom made. Varying degrees of brightness are available
by simply specifying the number and density of fibers within the
extrusion. Adjustable fixtures can easily be incorporated within the
system for spotlighting effects. Once installed in the unique mounting
brackets, the extrusion can be swiveled for further adjustment.
Jeff
Versakos is the principal of Band Inc., Magic Lite's exclusive agent in
the US for the sales and installation of CARO products.
