FS404 Illuminator
Description: Manufactured
with a durable polycarbonate case, the 404 illuminator is C.U.L. listed
for wet locations. A powerful 150 Watt metal halide lamp utilizes
Fiberstars’ designed and patented reflector to deliver maximum light to
the fiber. Two different colour temperature lamps, 3000°K or 4000°K,
are available. Colour wheels of
4 or 8 colours create dramatic effects
with continuously changing colours or remaining at one colour position,
as desired. The 404 normally accommodates 300 or 385 fibers but for
certain
end-emitting applications like star ceilings, the 404 can be
fitted with a special 600 fiber ferrule.
Application: The
404 illuminator can be used in any outdoor application for non electric
illumination. This would include such projects as signage, water
features, decorative landscaping, building accents, architectural
features such as domes and soffits, steps, pavers and point-to-point
downlighting.
FS404 Illuminator
Description: The
405 illuminator is Fiberstars’ most popular illuminator model. Housed
in a compact, easy access enclosure, this illuminator is C.U.L. listed
for wall or floor mount in a concealed space location. Brilliant light
is transmitted into the fiber optic cable with Fiberstars’ 150 Watt
metal halide lamp/patented reflector combination. The 405 illuminator
uses a 3000°K or 4000°K lamp. Dramatic colour changes are achieved with
optional 4 or 8 colour wheels, or a single custom colour can be
ordered. The 405 illuminator has a standard capacity of 300 or 385
fibers but for certain end-emitting application like star ceilings, the
405 can use a special 600 fiber ferrule. Each illuminator comes with an
optical port and a lamp (colour temperature specified on order).
Application: The
405 illuminator can be used in any indoor application for safe,
beautiful illumination. Some applications would include recessed
downlighting, linear highlights, display lighting, step lighting,
decorative signage, starlit ceilings, soffit and cove lighting.
FS2L Illuminator
Description: Fiberstars’
FS2L illuminator is a compact, quiet light source for use with
Fiberstars fiber optic lighting systems. It uses a 71 watt quartz
halogen lamp with 3000°K colour temperature, is C.U.L. listed for dry
location. It creates dramatic colour changes with an optional 4 or 8
colour wheel, or a single custom colour can be ordered. The FS2L
normally accommodates 300 or 400 fibers but for certain end-emitting
application like star ceilings, the FS2L can be fitted with a special
450 or 600 fiber ferrule. Each illuminator comes with an optical port
and a lamp.
Application: The
FS2L illuminator was designed specifically for use in display cases.
