Spectra-Strip’s TapeLite® 500 Series is a unique, non-electrical, flat side emitting lighting cable designed for spaces where long length (up to 100 ft.) broad areas need to be lit with a very thin, .085 inch thick design.
TapeLite® 500 series is built with a patent pending combination of twisted plastic optical fibers and programmable untwisted parallel sections. Most of the light emits from the twisted fibers, while the parallel untwisted sections are used to bring light to the twisted lit sections from the illuminator. TapeLite® can be used with all Magic Lite illuminators including quartz halogen, metal halide and LED. Colour wheels can be added to provide a variety of constant or changeable colour options. TapeLite® can even be coupled with computer-controlled RGB LEDs for creative, colourful, interactive audio visualizations. Due to its non-electrical design, it is perfect for applications that need to be safely illuminated with no bulbs to burn out in potentially hazardous locations

Application
With its extreme efficiency and precise beam control, EFO is well
suited for accent lighting and spot lighting in commercial and industrial settings. EFO is particularly suited for installations into T-Bar ceilings, and also appropriate for hard ceilings, display cases, elevator cabs, and many other locations. |
